alignment problem

On the left side of the screen is a chatterbox. As you can see, it sort of centers itself vertically on the left side depending on how large the page is in height.

I need it to align itself to the top, no matter what size it is.

I've tried adding td valign="top", a 0 margin in CSS and also adding a spacer image to 100% under the table but I can't for the life of me get it to stay put.

Can someone help figure out what the problem is?
 
looks like it has something to do with the rowspan. try setting an explicit height for the cell containing your "logo.gif" image.

short of that, try tableless layouts. but you've heard that thousands of times by now, i'm sure.
