I am returning an rs into a variable that I then put within a textarea. This works but for some reason the first part of the rs starts most of the way across the textarea and not in the first position. How do I control the positioning of the rs within the textarea?

Thanks,
Jim

Normally, if you put the contents of a variable into a textarea (I assume with javascript?), it will either replace anything already in there and start at the first character position, or be appended after the last character of whatever is already in the textarea.
Check that you do not have any whitespace between your textarea tags, and that you are not passing any whitespace into the beginning of your variable. Hello BlueMango,

Thanks for yout reply. I found the problem of having the tags too far apart. All is well and thank you for your help.
