Alignment in edit box

I create a dialog and adds an Edit Box.
The text in the Edit Box is left aligned.
To change the font for the dialog i select properties on
the dialog and change the font to Tahoma (it happens with
other fonts as well). The text in the Edit Box changes and
it is still almost left aligned but it is indented about 5
DLU. It does not look nice. Is there a way to eliminate
this?
