Aligning PDF Headings

I have some headings in a report which goes to PDF format.
One of the fields in the heading is a parameter being passed into the report. This needs to be displayed in the heading. The problem is that the field can be from three (3) characters to forty (40) characters.

The field can be displayed fine, however, when the forty (40) characters appear, the last set of fields in the heading get pushed off to the page. I need the last set of fields (Selected Date Range) to be right aligned in the heading.

Can this be done?

If the last set of fields gets pushed off the page, when your variable is 40 characters, what good will right-justification do?
