I'm working on a benefits manual that includes subheads that are right justified and that are aligned with text copy that is left-justified. The subheads use a different font than the text copy. Example:

Personal Leave Personal Leave may be used for vacation
and personal reasons.

The subhead is Personal Leave and the text copy is the descriptive sentence.
I want to define a style for the subhead that is different from the style for the text copy but I can't figure out how to make them stay on the same line. The text copy line always starts one line below the subhead. I didn't want to put the subhead in its own column or text frame because I want it (and subsequent subheads) to stay connected with the text copy.

I would use two text frames and group them.
Using only one causes additionally the problem,
that the right column cannot be easily left aligned
without tabs. ----G.Hoffmann
