Align objects to path? 2

Aleks:
One way might be to line up all your objects, select them all, from the brushes palette select new brush, art brush, make it proportional. Your objects are now a brush. Draw your path for aligning, apply the art brush to it, fiddle. The drawback is that the objects themselves also flow along the path, so a rectangle can become an arch or an s shape. May work for your particular application.
I'll check into other possibilities once I get the ol' babe up and running...

Glad you've got it sorted out, Aleks.
I'll post any other solutions if I find any. I know there's also a javascript somewhere to do this, I'll have to try to retrieve it.
