Alighning site in Firefox and Internet explorer

Hi, I'm building a site for a family member with help from forums and tutorials. Ive hit a problem with the site looking the same in multiple browsers. The site,

http://www.camdentherapy.com

looks good in firefox but when I switch to IE there is a thin border down the left hand of the page and the header is unbalanced. Can anyone help out with these glitches?

Download Firebug for Firefox/Mozilla, and use the F12 in Internet Explorer. They are some great developer tools.

How did you fix it.
Everything looks fine you could make better contact page.
The page could show specific mail sending errors.
