Alien Skin Edges to vector

Hi there,

I've used alien skin edges on a vector fireworks object (a letter actually), and now I wanted to be able to transform it into a vector object... What i wanted to do is to be able to increase and decrease size of the object without the effect beeing changed, or to be able to export this object to other vector based programs (when I do this I get the actual letter with no effect, or a bitmap, on the other program like AI or CDR...)

I don't think this is going to be possible- ever tried shifting a photoshop filtered image into fireworks? It looses all the filters. You'd need compatable software, possibly you could use it in Freehand or Flash as they are both Macromedia products.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..

The problem is not going to another program with filters... Even if I import it in Photoshop it goes as a bitmap.

What I want is to have it as an object with that shape (the one resulting from the filter) and not as a object with the filter applied.
