Alias Not Found & Can Not Access The Selected Table

We get the these 2 error messages. It does not happen all the time also it happens in different parts of the system. Just wondering what could would cause the message. Some of our clients might never get these and some get them, but not all the time. We are running VFP 9.

These are all forms, most have grids and dropdown boxes.

I know this happens when the alias (usually a cursor) that is a recordsource for a control is closed (or rebuilt) while the form is still active.

One common cause for "Cannot access the selected table" is closing the table or cursor a listbox or combobox is based on.

Look for a cursor that has the same name on another form or control. This happens in combo drop downs on multiple forms if the developer does not pay attention.

Alias not found can also occur when you allow (expect) the default behavior of the alias to be the same as the table name. This is not true when the table starts with a non character.
