Hello
I'm new at snmp... but i already read a lot.

My goal is to put an allert on overflow of mac tables... i already have the proper dell mib to give me the count of mac addresses in the table. But there's no standard alert.

Now i've already made a trend report, chosen the right mib (dot1qFdbDynamicCount) (oid: 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.2.1.1.2.1). The dot1qFdbDynamicCount gives approx. 74, i want an allert on >100 so i set up a trend report instances with tresshold of >100.

But then? the alert should be specified by the snmpc-threshold-alarm, wich i configged. But I don't get any allert?? I'm I'm forgetting something??
