We have added several alerts via the Record Related Settings function.
My problem is how to delete those alerts we no longer need.
It's probably easy when you know how but I can't figure it out.

Any Ideas?
Melanie

Go back into Record-related Settings | Alerts tab, and uncheck the Alerts you don't want active for that Contact or uncheck the option to Enable Alerts to stop all Alerts for that Contact.

I think I may have worded my query poorly.

I know you can un-tick the alert but how do you delete the alert from the list of available alerts.

we not longer use some of the alerts and therefore want to shorten the list that staff have to scroll through to choose the correct alert.

Does that make sense?

Thanks
Melanie

@Melanie - Does that make sense?

@DJ Hunt - Yes it does, but unfortunately there is no way to do that within GoldMine. I believe that those items are stored in the Lookup table, and one would need to go in there directly, find the items, and delete them.

Visit the Knowledgebase in your GoldMine and then head to the System|Contact Alerts folder. There you'll find all the available alerts. Delete those you don't need anymore.
