Alert Manager email to exchange mailbox

We are using Virusscan 8.0 on a segement of our network and I have installed Alert Manager on my XP PC to monitor alerts. I want to be emailed when an alert occurs but our corporation uses Exchange and I have no SMTP server address to put in the config. How can I get it to Alert me via email?
