Does anyone know of a system that will light up a light if Calls waiting reaches a threshold? I know Symon view boards have a capability of beeping at a certain threshold. We have one of those in one of our call centers. But our other call center just wants a light to come on. Hopefully saving money compared to a symonview board.

We have a Symposium express call center off an Option 61c

download GRTD Graphical real time display. i think its free.. Anyway it does sort of a Simon view thing.. You can set thresholds to beep play sounds or flash how many calls are waiting. We use it on a 42" lcd to display stats. You can play sound files too like "HEY GET OUT OF NOT READY!" and send it over the pa.. :)

Is it compatible with Symposium Express 4.2 and where would I find the download. I have been googling and cant find a download.

Never mind about where to download. The disk was still in the original SECC software box, never touched.

Got GRTD working. looks great but where would you get it to play sound files as you describe above. The only sound I can get it to make is beep.

Oh crap, sorry i was thinking of another app. your correct you can only do system beeps with GRTD.

Hurricaneguy - can you confirm for me that you are currently using SECC 4.2 with GRTD? I am working with management at a 25 agent call center that went live on Nov 1. My IT / SECC tech person is telling me that GRTD is not supported in SECC 4.2 and requires a separate license from Nortel. Much like you, I am simply trying to find an easy and inexpensive solution to project real-time information on a 52" LCD screen. I would like to have visual and audible alerts when wait times have exceeded 60 seconds and/or more than 1 or 2 customers are holding in queue. Any insight you or others can provide on this topic would be extremely helpful.

Yes I do have a symposium express 4.2 and I am using GRTD. See if you can find the original software box that is where I found the disk for my GRTD. Don't think there is separate licenses. looks like it is software that logs into symposium and displays the data in graphs or large numerical displays.

You can set up the display to do several things like flash after a certain threshold, beep once, or beep continuously.

I have ours set up by number of calls waiting in queue. I do think there are options for wait times as well. peretty much anything that can be done in regular real time display has a Graphical options.
