Alert\Event Log when a computer joins the domain

I think what i want is pretty simplistic. I was wondering if there is a way to log whenever a computer has been joined or dis-joined to the active directory domain. Ultimately i want to setup an email alert for when this happens, that isn't the part i can't make happen. I know how to go in the event viewer and tell it to send an email whenever an event id is triggered but there don't seem to be any events logged when a computer is joined or removed from the domain.

Is this possible?

It appears these Event ID's on not on by default, how would I turn them on, please and thank you.
