I am using Crystal Reports v8 developer version for viewing on the web. A lot of the actual processing of the underlying code is done using stored procs on SQL Server 2000. But would like to develop similar results using any other product - utilising the stored procs already written. Possibilites I am looking at include: VB6 with its limited reporting facilities, and Visual Interdev ie ASP. Because of the licensing issues with Crystal Reports has anybody any suggestions as to the way to go? Other products, with more definate and less costly licensing would be a possibility. Anu ideas? Thanks.
