Alchemy Phone Manager on Windows 2K

My customer has upgraded his pc's to Windows 2K; and now his PhoneManager software ( for Alchemy!!!) will not run unless the users are given local admin rights on their pc's. Is there a work around for this? Or should he get an IPO?

Well - they should get an IPO but there is a work around!

It involves RegEdt32 (or RegEdit if you prefer). You need to make all the Avaya/Alchemy/Network Alchemy keys available to all users.

I don't have a PC with just the Alchemy software on to hand, but if you really need the key descriptions I am sure I can find them for you (or someone else can post them here first).
