Alchemy DCP Modules on Version 3

Has anyone tried using an old Argent DCP module on IP Office with version 3 and the new DS phones (54xx series).

Does it upgrade and work as normal?

As i recall Avaya (then Net Alchemy a British product) withdrew support on the DCP modules as they ran into compatibility issues.
I suspect even with new firmware, they was a hardware issue.
