Alcatel STPro not allowing tracert

G'day all,

Anyone out there know anything about the Alcatel Speed Touch Pro aDSL Router?

I am unable to tracert through it. Doesn't matter what OS or hardware the ip command is issued from, it is stopped at the router.

I am able to ping successfully and can browse the Net etc.

I have created a direct connection to the router to bypass the firewall and ensure it is NOT the firewall.

I have turned off firewalling via the cli but this has still not stopped the blocking of ICMP packets.

Have you tried the PATHPING command?
