Alarms not recorded - BCM 3.6 1

I went to Alarm banner and all buttons show 0 alarms.
BS I say....ther must be alarms, even me logging in it wont show.

What and where do I check to make sure it logs alarms, the usuals like the defaults on a 4.0.

In Alarm manager all I could only find was days to keep - 0 and amount - 0
0- assuming no limit.

As I remember it Curly ... on the old BCM's you had to go to Services>Alarm Service and enable to populate the Alarm Banner.
