I am setting up a used Partner system, ACS, and Partner VS 4.1, and I am getting a ringing on extensions 10 and 11 on Intercom 2 button every 30 minutes. I cannot find if there is a notification or alarm set and I want to avoid resetting the whole thing. Also when the intercom is picked up - sometimes it appears to be dialing something. It definately appears to be associated with time - since it seems to happen every 30 minutes.

Sounds like your voicemail hunt group is not set up correctly. Go to our web site and click on Reference Guides. You will find one for the VS Mail which will lead you through the basic setup. Brian Cox

Hopefully someone can answer this one. I changed the configuration to 4 lines, now the system occasionally picks up line two and dials an outside number! Why would this be occurring? I thought you could not even transfer to an outside extension! Does anyone know what feature would be picking up a line and dialing it occasionally?

Never mind about dialing out. The user was picking up extension 10 after the call bounced to auto-attendant. She hears dialing when she picks up and thought that the system was connecting her to an outside line. But why the dialing when she picks up?

Sounds like 10 has been assigned to the voicemail hunt group. The ONLY stations assigned to hunt group 7 should be the voicemail stations. Make sure no working extensions are assigned to hunt group 7. Also, in procedure #206, group 7, make sure the lines are ASSIGNED, not VMS COVER. As stated before you can check our web site for the correct reference guide. Good luck! Brian Cox
