BCM 400 In Element Manager under alarms I'm getting Alarm ID 401 (Core Telephony - Digital station loop initialization error.) every minute. The customer is telling me that all phones are working fine. Is this a station card acting up or an individual station. I don't look into the alarms very often but I've never seen this one.

Here is the definition according to my doc. Not that it is all that helpful

Alarm type- minor
Core Telephony
Verify that all types of attached sets/peripherals initialize and function. If something not working reset it. If the problem persists contact your local support group.

If this alarm just started popping up recently, check to see if they recently added a phone or two, and back track that way. You could try disabling the card and then enable it. Also check to see if there are any older meridian M model stamped phones on the system. I know some of the older M series are not compatible.

Good Luck
Kevin

thanks for the info. I konw that the customer has a pile of M-series phones, perhaps they swithed soemeting out.
