some of our LIM's got 2 power supplies. If one of them go down we don't get an alarm.
It should be possible to receive an alarm if a power supply goes down? I checked ALEX for ALU2 but cannot find much about this. If I check power supply's front connector then there should be a possibility to receive alarms.
I assume this is to be done with an ALU2?

You must have an output on the power supply that indicate when a fault occurs. Then, you must connect this output to the input of the ALU2 board (check ALEX for connections) and then you must use the ALEII:BPOS=X-XX-XX,ALI=Y,CODE=ZZZ,TEXT=POWERALARM;
Where x-xx-xx is the BPOS of the ALU2
Y is the input where you connect the alarm output of the power supply
zzz is the alarm code that you want in the ALLOP output when the fault occurs.
The TEXT parameter is the text string that you want displayed as a description in the ALLOP output.

Siouxes.

How do I connect the alarm outputs from the Pow41 Power Supply to the ALU2 front connector?
I have checked ALEX, outputs alarm Pow41 should be a06,a14,b06,b14,c06 and c14. We have got multiple Pow41 modules that should be connected to the ALU2 (about 15 Pow41's)
The input of the ALU2 should be AL0 to AL7.

What kind of cable should I use and how do I connect the right dots?

Hello,
Find "Power equipment modules and earthing in telephone exchange 07/ASB 501 04 - Cabling for alarm and temperature probes " in ALEX. You need cables according to that instruction.
