Alarm Banner Question

I need some help on setting up & understanding the alarm banner.
Can I do this on a group basis for multiple BCMs?
Can I set it up to only show when I am IP or direct connect to the BCM?
Now for the BCMs for dummys question: Where do I start?

I found the answer. Enable Alarm Services, Click on system in unified manager, click on FAULTS, in menu. From there it is self explanatory.

I am still trying to figure out if I can get the alarms to report to a remote site.
