I am getting an alarm id 53010 on my BCM 50. The information I get is as follows

53010 Resource Media Controller :: OID 0x10165ad0 Transport Mismatch IP Address: Far.End.BCM200.IP RTP port=28056 RTCP port=28057 IP Address=My.BCM50.With.Alarm RTP=0 RTCP=28013 SysID=BCM;entityID=Custome-BCM;SubID=mgs

Does anyone know how to decode this message?

at a guess I would say you are trying to connect the bcm with IP trunks and you have a codec issue. But would need more details as to what you are trying to connect etc.

IP Address=My.BCM50.With.Alarm RTP=0

This suggests to me that during H.323 setup with the far end, the BCM 50 is not allocating a RTP port for the media path, or to use the correct term "logical channel" This process is defined by H.245 which is responsible for determining the master slave relationship between two H323 endpoints, ascertaining their codec capabilities etc. If I remember rightly, when you configure the gateway characteristics, one of the parameters is the base UDP port number. This normally 28000 I think, and from this output, I'd check this first to see if it's configured correctly. I guess you're given the option to change this to take into account any firewall requirements that may be in the path of the call.
