Alarm 40003

Hi,

One of our customers is set up with a BCM50 and 2 expansion modules, one for trunks and the other for digital stations. Once in a while (it happened twice already) the system stops, restarts and reports alarm 40003. Here is the description of the alarm: "Media Service Manager uneable to communicate with DSP".

I'd like to know if anyone ever encountered this alarm, what is the cause and how did you fix it?

Maybe you need some patch

What version is your Bcm50? Is it fully patched?

It used to be a beta for release 3.0 but now is fully patched and stable version. I'll check with Nortel to see about the patches but I doubt it has anything to do with it... Thanks anyway for the info.
