Alarm 2 at operator console

hi there,

i'm new in this area, need help how to clear alarm 2 error, when run ALLOP got this, 282 STATUS ERROR IN INTERFACE TOWARDS ICS COMPUTER

That means there is no received DTR signal from
interception computer v.24 connection at md's equ2-2-50-02
ICU board .
Clearing it will have no effect until the v.24 connection
is up again .

Clear the alarm you mean ??
Key in ALREI;
But it will come back , the faulty v.24 connection must be fixed ( and thats outside of the MD).


ICU <----v.24 cable -----> Computer (voicemail or ICS or CCM ,something )

What ever possible command to clear the error.

No command in MD110 except ALREI, you must make sure that the network is OK and that the interception computer is Ok (most likely DNA).
I presume that it was working OK ; then the ICS setup is OK.

You fix the fault OUTSIDE THE MD .
