Dear all,
Please help on the following situation:
I would like to export entire database from DB_A and then import into DB_B:
DB_A:
Oracle 7.3.4, character set "AL24UTFFSS", Korean character store in some tables (data type is VARCHAR2).
DB_B:
Oracle 8.1.7, character set "UTF8", the goal is to import the Korean character completely and fully recognizable.
According to Oracle document, "AL24UTFFSS" is obsoleted in Oracle 8i, it say we should upgrade from "AL24UTFFSS" to "UTF8" prior to upgrade to 8i.
So, how can I "upgrade" from "AL24UTFFSS" to "UTF8" in Oracle 7?
Thanks.
Leo
