Aksoft spyware

Anyone heard of this? The only thing that detected it was SpySweeper - found over 27,000 traces. Been running all day and only at 30% so far. Haven't found anything else that will detect or remove it.

It has the ability to capture virtually everything you do on your computer including recording all keystrokes, e-mails, chat room dialogue, instant message dialogue, Web sites visited, usernames, passwords, and programs run. It may take screen shots of your desktop at scheduled intervals, and the information gathered may be stored on your computer in an encrypted log file for later retrieval. It may be capable of e-mailing the log files to a pre-defined e-mail address. It has the ability to run in the background, hiding its presence.

as for other anti-spyware that will detect it, try ms anti-spyware and spybot s&d ith their latest updates.

Thanks, I already tried SpyBot, AdAware, MS Antispyware, AdwareAway, CWShredder, Hijackthis, and Panda Antivirus. Spysweeper has been running for about 10 hours and is only at 37%. CPU is pinned at 100%.

Have you tried using System restore to revert your computer to a time before the infection?
If System restore is not an option, disable it while trying to shake this nasty.
These anti-malware tools should be run in safe mode after an infection such as this, are you running them in safe mode?

Some other suggestions here: Go through these steps carefully and thoroughly and then post a HijackThis log.
