ajax update price

Hi,

I need to change the subtotal on a page when two different things are changed.

First is a dropdown where the user picks a number and the second is a checkbox when the user picks an advert type (2choices).

I am thinking ajax but don't particularly know where to start.

Any help gratefully received to get me going.

sounds like it's a pure javascript issue.

with js you navigate the DOM, grab the values of the form controls you need, do the maths and then dump the result back to the browser. you could do all this serverside too, using ajax, but it seems unnecessary.

your best bet is to post in the js forum.
