I could easily use a db for this but the site is a small fan site and I don't think I really need a db. I have a few static pages but would like to use the ajax html editor to edit the pages from a password protected admin area.

Can I load a portion of a page into the editor and then save it back to the page i opened?

For example, my main page has a div called "maintext". Can I load the content of that div into the ajax htmleditor, make a change and then save the changes back to the other page or am I stuck using a db?

I know for a fact that Google Sites does exactly this. So, yes it is possible. No I do not know how :) But this is the important part, right? Knowing that it's possible?

Cool, at least I can continue my search on how to do it. Thanks.
