I have an Ajax control on the page that is working ok. However when I want to select the previous or next month using the small arrows it display the year grid. Its as though the year in the top row is too wide and is overlapping the arrows so it looks like I'm clicking the arrows but the year is still highlighted. It may be that some css in the page is causing it but how can I set the width of the year, is there another way round it.

Hi

How is this related to AJAX ?

Sounds like pure forum215 problem.

( When re-posting there please post the relevant HTML and CSS code too. Or even better, post the URL of a publicly accessible copy of that page. )

Feherke.

Theres a clue in the title AJAX CALENDER CONTROL

just because the control uses ajax, doesn't make the problem ajax. would this be a problem if the calendar didn't use ajax? feherke is correct; your issue is CSS and HTML, not making remote calls to the server.

Is this a 3rd party control? if so you may want to ask the creators of the control to assist with formatting. They will know the details of how the control works.

Its part of the standard ajax control toolkit from microsoft

Without wanting to sound like an unwanted echo, just because it has the word AJAX in the name does not make it an AJAX problem. It sounds very much like a CSS / HTML problem, therefore forum215 would be a more appropriate place to ask.

How many more people have to say this before you ask there?

There may be some confusion in OP's mind between the proprietary (so-called) AJAX which is some sort of Microsoft add-on to ASP and real AJAX (the subject of this forum ([red]A[/red]synchronous [red]J[/red]avaScript [red]a[/red]nd [red]X[/red]ML). He may do better in one of the MS-specific forums
