Oh, one tip, order new install media at the new ML / TL in case you need to boot media to recover the system after a filesystem problem....A TL9 system probably cannot be recovered from ML3 boot media. And if you need to recover from mksysb and have problems booting the backup you will also need the TL9 media on CD or similar.
Ask your business partner / VAR for the new media, at AIX 5.2 TL09, it should be free if you have a licence.
