How do I create an account for a user with a preset password by way of a brief script?

I wish to create a batch of new users with the same password - how do I do this via a script using mkuser. The problem is parsing the 'general password' into the password account for the newly created user.

using expect scripts are the easiest way. we are supposed to have an old sample around here, if you need it i can try to find it.
