I'm trying to update one of our AIX servers but it fails because a fileset is missing build date:
0503-466 installp: The build date requisite check failed for fileset sysmgt.pconsole.apps.wsmit.
Installed fileset build date is 0846. Selected fileset does not have a build date, but one is required.
installp: Installation failed due to BUILDDATE requisite failure.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Yes, have tried to generate a new .toc file but it still fails.

Looks like the fileset is committed but not installed:
lppchk: The following filesets need to be installed or corrected to bring
the system to a consistent state:

sysmgt.pconsole.apps.wsmit 6.1.2.1 (usr: COMMITTED, root: not installed)

Tried the suggestions in the thread you posted above but still have the same problem.

I guess another thing to try is download your fileset again. Maybe your DL was corrupt?
