I have a need to use X-modem for file transfer. I must be able to cause it to interact with a specific /dev (namely tty1, where our modem is).
I have used ATE effectively in a manual process, but I must be able to automate using cron w/o any user intervention. ATE will not automate.
Basically, what I am looking for is a method for forcing Xmodem to use /dev/tty1 for its transfer path.
thx ... des :)
