Help ....

We currently have a 9111-285 IBM Workstation running AIX5.1 which has just been plugged into a 60" Widescreen plasma screen. The problem is that the only available screen settings are the following:
1600x1200@60Hz
1280x1024@60Hz
1280x768@60Hz
1024x768@60Hz (The best one so far)

And none of these are widescreen so everything looks stretched & squashed which is not good for engineering pics. Does AIX offer any other settings.

Thanks

Just a dumy question, Did you install all required plasma screen drivers!?!

Where can I find drivers as can't see any on the aix cd's???

I guess this should come with the plasma screen CDs for AIX!

Regards,
Khalid

Easy way out is perhaps attaching the plasma screen to a PC with a better fitting resolution and running an X-emulation package like Reflection/X ?

Then run the application on the AIX box from your PC X-windows session.
