Hi all,
I have Samba 3.0.21c running on an IBM P520 (AIX5.3). Samba so far runs nicely and smooth as expected.
But:
I'm only able to copy files < 1 GByte from WinXP computers to the P520. I already increased the values in /etc/security/limits for the user who needs to transfer the files as well as for root (the motivation being that smbd runs as root). No success so far. Not sure if it's a AIX-problem at all, concatenating a couple of smaller files to a large 1.3 GByte file succeeded (on console level) as well as transferring this file per ftp/scp from WinXP (from this behavior I derive that it doesn't have to do with file system, limits or quotas).

Any help highly appreciated
Thanks
Udo
