AIX Routing Issue - UGc

Hello,

I've recently moved into a networking with multiple AIX machines. I'm haveing an issue with static routing on AIX 5.2

When I add a static route through smitty it comes up in the table as UGc I want a route created that is not cloning. In essance.. we do not want the routing table to update itself at all. It is supposed to be static and locked.

Any suggestions?

You should add the static route using chdev to make it permanent.
