AIX Print Queue stuck in 'RUNNING' status

Hi there,

I have a print queue which has no jobs queued and shows RUNNING status. I have tried to disable/enable it multiple times with no results. It never shows DOWN or READY.

Any advice or tips would be very helpful.

I am very new to AIX, but I have found that if you physically turn off the printer, it will crash the queue, and then you can bring it back online.

The command to bring down the queue is

qadm -K queueu_name (force the queue to go down)
