AIX NIM Behind Firewall

Folks, although I may already know the answer to this, here's my dilemma; We are trying to implement NIM in order to deploy AIX images and as one of the requirements TFTP must have all available ports open for communications behind a firewall. Since the firewall guys are balking at allowing this from a security perspective, I wanted to know if you are able to limit the TFTP transactions to a few select ports. Unfortunately I can't find this documented in any NIM literature, so I wanted to know if anyone out there has some thoughts on how to implement this (assuming it's possible).
