aix laser printer margins

We are running AIX, version 5.3. We have all of our HP laser printers setup as spoolers. When we printer from AIX, the top margin and left margin are not at the home position.

Why don't you try to make the Queue as pass-through one and then control the margins from the printer setup itself?

/usr/lib/lpd/pio/etc/piochpq -q Queue_name -d Qaddress -f 'l'

Assuming it is connected to the network.
