It seems that the AIX lpd doesn't make use of the dns .
When I enter the IP Address in the /etc/hosts.lpd or when I enter the hostname of the client in the /etc/hosts and in the /etc/hosts.lpd it is OK.
The name resolution is OK . (ping hostname when hostname not in /etc/hosts) /etc/netsvc.conf ==> hosts=local, bind
