AIX DNS SENDMAIL

Hello,

I'm new to AIX and sendmail. I'm tryind to set up a the DNS, and sendmail on a AIX 4.3 RS6000.

Could smeone explain me all the steps, because this is a real husstle.

This really goes beyong a "tip". To configure DNS and sendmail, you'll need a couple hours - some time to configure, sometime to test.

Will you be setting up secondary DNS servers ? Will the AIX be primary or secondry ? These are all questions we would need to know before helping you out.

You're best off getting the DNS/BIND and Sendmail books from O'Reilly.
