I am running AIX with UDB. I would like to do asynchronous clustering to a site that is over 1000 miles away. Anybody doing this, or are there any options to do this? We are also using and IBM ESS and a EMC DMX right now.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks..I saw HACMP/XD, but it sounded like it wouldn't work over 300km. There looks to be something called GeoRM and HAGEO that may do what I want. Thanks!

You might want to look at Veritas Cluster Server with Global Cluster Manager. Also, the next version of VCS called NGC (Next Generation Cluster) is supposed to excell at global clustering.
