I have been working on this for 2 days.

I am running Arcserve 11.5 sp3 on a Windows 2003 server. I can not get the AIX client through put higher than 36Mb/min.
I have followed CA's suggestion for the AIX client and their suggestion for the ArcServe Windows Server.

No improvement.

Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix this?

better to find the bottleneck at your installation that seek the solution for others.

what is the throughput for other remote systems?
How many aix systems are backed up?
How many aix backup sessions are there?
What is the throughput for each aix session?
are they all 36mb/m?

Thanks DavidMichel,,

No matter what UNIX client I select, I can only get up to 36mb/min. The Windows box is using Gigabit connectivity and so are ALL of my UNIX clients.
After 3 days of not being able to use ArcServe to get backups, I have resurrected our old backup software (HP DataProtector).
