AIX bos.adt.debug-5.1.0.36

HI

I need to install bos.adt.debug-5.1.0.36 on my AIX 5.1
box.

Current version
# lslpp -L | grep bos.adt.debug
bos.adt.debug 5.1.0.35 C F Base Application Development

From where can I get the same ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Downloaded & installed it lslpp output shows --
# lslpp -L | grep bos.adt.debug
bos.adt.debug 5.1.0.36 B F Base Application Development

It shows B -- Broken installation .
Can I remove it & reinstall it again.
Can AIX system boot without bos.adt.debug fileset.

I met the same situation once. You can reinstall the package from a AIX CD with force option, then put the ptf after that.

But I am unable to find base package on cd. In which cd it is ?
I downloaded bos.adt.debug-5.1.0.35 ,but it doesn't show
it in installation list even after doing inutoc .

Can I remove thr broken one & install the bos.adt.debug-5.1.0.35 .

Maybe you can't. You'd better install it from CD first. I have no CD with me right now, but I think you can find it by
smitty installp->Install and Update from All Available Software. All AIX CDs have index, it doesn't matter which CD you are using.

It is working fine.
