IBM has announced/reminded that some AIX and pSeries certifications are about to expire:

Some of these certs are:
IBM Certified Specialist -- eServer p5 and pSeries Administration and Support for AIX 5L V5.3
IBM eServer Certified Systems Expert -- pSeries Enterprise Technical Support
IBM eServer Certified Specialist -- p5 and pSeries Technical Sales Support

For those that have to renew their certifications, the new test 223 - System p Administrator is starting to replace test 222 - p5 and pSeries Administration and Support AIX 5L V5.3.
The new test 223 objetives are detailed in:

The main difference is that in 223 they're adding some Virtualization, APV, LPAR and planning, from test 180 - p5 and pSeries Enterprise Technical Support AIX 5L V5.3.

Well, I guess once again it's time to make some night reading.

I forgot there is a "UNIX certification and testing" specific forum, and I've just seen it.

Is there a way to move this post to this forum?

Thanks

As this is AIX specific, probably best to leave it here.
