AIX and CIO

We are planning on using the AIX CIO mount option for our Oracle data and redo log filesystems .Oracle version is 10.2

I checked with the DBA and the DB_Block_size is 8KB
I checked with SA and see the agblksize on the filesystem as 4KB

I want to mount the FS with the cio option . I have read couple of white paper that not adhering to the Direct I/O alignment restriction would demote the DIO and have performance penalty . Here in my example i have 8KB app block size and 4KB Filesystem block size(agblksize) . The recommendation is to have the Application blocksie= agblksize

Does any of the experts here foresee any issues in my settings above App 8k and agblksize 4k ..?
