DEAR All,

We lately updated the OS and Microcode i:e
OS 5.3 to 6.1
The current permanent system firmware image is SF240_202
The current temporary system firmware image is SF240_358
The system is currently booted from the temporary firmware image.


The server was working fine from last 3 days
today it stated giving error messages ...Kindly help..

See if you can find a microcode update for your SCSI adapter. If not, then call it in to IBM. "PERM H" (Permanent Hardware) errors usually mean there's something physically wrong with the adapter. But it may be that the firmware (driver) on the adapter is just incompatible with the hardware on your machine.
