AIX 6.1 Changing the printing subsystem

Hello,
I'm planning to change the printing subsystem from System V to AIX printing. There's a regarding option in smit but I don't know what will happen step by step when I choose that option.
I guess there won't be an automatic migration of all printers defined in /etc/lp/printers/ to /etc/qconfig. Does anybody know, what exactly the smit option will do and how I can get as simple as possible all print queues imported in qconfig ?
Has anyone done that in the past and got a short "How to" ?
Hope my description is clear enough, I'm not very firm with AIX.
